First Communion and Confirmation   
 First Communion starts in 2nd grade and Confirmation is for 10-12th grade

NOTE: Fees are due at the time of registration.  
NOTE: If your child is receiving a sacrament this year (First Communion ), you MUST provide a copy of the child's  birth and baptismal certificate at the time of registration if not baptism at St. Mary's Cathedral. Confirmation will need the child's birth and baptismal certificate with the First Communion certificate at the time of registration. 
 Registration Fees
In order to pay for books, supplies, personnel and other materials, a registration fee is required.  Our fees are similar to fees at other parishes in the area.  

However, no child will be turned away due to lack of funds!  Arrangements can be made with Barb Ernst, our Director of Religious Education.
  • Regular Fees
    • 1st Child - $40
    • 2nd Child - $80 (total of $80)
    • 3rd Child - $100 (total of $100)
    • more children - no extra cost!

Religious Education Wednesday classes: 6:15-7:15 pm for 8th-12th grade at Grand Island Central Catholic 

Confirmation classes: Wednesday, at GICC at 6:15-7:15 pm
