Wedding Rings

 Interested couples should contact a priest directly at least four (4) months before their desired wedding date. The Diocese of Grand Island specifies the requirements for marriage.  St. Mary's Cathedral follows these regulations.  Couples will need to complete classes, gather important documents and find witnesses as part of their preparation.  

Due to high demand, a deposit is required in order to schedule a date in the Cathedral.  One of the priests assigned to St. Mary's must approve the date beforehand.  Couples who are not registered and active parishioners are subject to a higher fee; please call the office for details.  Weddings may be scheduled on any day except Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.

 Matrimonio Catolico

Parejas que desean casarse por le Iglesia deben contactar al sacerdote por lo menos (4) meses antes de poner una fecha. Las normas acerca del matrimonio son del Diocesis de Grand Island y el Obispo.  La parroquia de Catedral Santa Maria obedece estas normas.  Las parejas deben tomar unas clases, recojer documentos importantes y buscar testigos en la preparacion.  

Es posible celebrar las bodas qualqier dia menos domingo y dias de precepto.  Uno de los sacerdotes de la Catedral deben aprobar la fecha antes de programarlo.  Porque los sabados son muy ocupados, un deposito es necesario para programar una fecha para la boda en este dia.  Parejas que no son miembros de la Catedral deben pagar mas; favor de llamar a la oficina.
